On Stressing

Shay – there really isn’t all that much to be done at this point. I do need to deal with making dinner this evening, but that’s one of those things that I’ll think about later. As for keeping the cats separated – no possible with the spare bedroom in use. I have to babysit The Clueless Wonder and CW Jr. as they eat their respective meals, since I can’t just lock each into a separate room and let them graze until they’re done eating. Poor CW Sr. got the short end of the stick yesterday; nobody took his bowl down for him during the day while I was at work, and when I got home half of his previous day’s dinner was still uneaten. No wonder he was acting like he was ready to gnaw my toes off if I didn’t feed him NOW when I got home after work yesterday.

The Professor is bemoaning the loss of his room in the evenings, but it is only temporary, and since we have a guest to entertain he wouldn’t have been able to hang out on the Heavy Metal Board all night anyhow. I feel sorrier for Clueless Wonder, who won’t have any true respite from the Tiny Terror until this weekend.

Any stress I’m under has more to do with work than anything else. Since I’ve decided to allow DT Diary to either become someone else’s project or to die, I’ll have more time during the days. The fact that no one is stepping up to take over DT Diary pretty much proves it wasn’t necessary to maintain anyhow; if it were that worthwhile somebody would have grabbed it by now. You guys were all right to suggest I consider just dropping it.

  1. I hope you’re not stressing too much about having company over.Did you have to do a lot of work around the place? And where will all those kitties go to be separated?

And thanks again for the wonderful lobster dinner and great hospitality. I still have no idea how to match that!
