I scored a 35.

Yeah, I know. Another test. This one is really good though. I got it from Nova’s Diary. She says to email it to people, but I don’t do mass e-mails (too close to spam-mail for my taste), so I figured I’d promote it here instead.

Here’s an interesting psychology-type test. Give it a try, and keep scrolling for all the instructions. Now stay focused on the beginning to enjoy the end! Take this test for yourself, and send it to your friends, including me. My score is in the subject box. Don’t peek but begin the test as you scroll down and answer. Answers are for who you are now, not who you were in the past. Have pen or pencil and paper ready.

This is a real test given by the Human Relations Dept. at many of the major corporations today. It helps them get a better insight concerning their employees and prospective employees. It’s only 10 simple questions, so grab a pencil and paper, list #’s 1 thru 10 keeping track of your letter answers.

Make sure to change the subject of the e-mail to read YOUR total when you are finished. Forward this to everyone you know, and also send it to the person who sent this to you. Make sure to put YOUR score in the subject box.

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS: Others see you as someone they should “handle with care .” You’re seen as vain, self-centered, and extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like but don’t always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality, a natural leader, who’s quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical and always interesting, someone who’s constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, a little too generous at times, and understanding; someone who’ll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful and practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who’s extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust on your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions and who doesn’t want to get involved with anyone or anything. They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don’t exist. Some people think you’re boring. Only those who know you well know hat you aren’t.

Now forward this on to everyone you know, making sure to put YOUR score in the subject box!

they do exist kinda sorta, they’re just a lot easier to ignore and avoid

I’ll also take this psychology quiz, as soon as I summon up the nerve from within me. Those personality tests always startle me a little. I think it’s because I’m afraid it’ll turn out that I don’t *have* a personality. But why not throw caution to the wind, give it a shot?

Sorry I haven’t really commented in a while. I’ll try to make my comments more frequent… 🙂

  4. In response to my kitty thing-

The vet was the one that told us we should put her to sleep.

The animal shelters here (in chicago) are already full, or else they’ll kill her after a week.

She’s declawed, so we can’t give her to a farm or anything.

I just don’t know. She’s like 5 years old, which is still a young cat, a think. Our last cat lived to be 14. I just hate to see this happen..

  5. I got 42 pts. I think that’s fairly accurate, particularly given that I’m at the low point of the scale. I don’t see myself as constantly at the center of the attention.

  6. I secretly hope for roses too (white or peach or maybe even yellow)… so far I’ve only gotten roses twice on V-Day. Both times they were red.

I took that test you got from Nova the day she put it up, and then after getting to the results, my computer crashed and I lost it all. Haven’t had time to retake the test, but you’re right – it is a good one.
