KfH Update

We weighed the cats last night. Warrior Princess is holding at about 13 lbs. Clueless Wonder is down to 13.5 (from his top weight of 19 pounds about 20 months ago). KfH came to me at perhaps four pounds. Last night she weighed in at nine!

Kitten from Hell and the Warrior Princess about a week ago. If they want to share furniture, they now need to move to the love seat. The chair just ain’t big enough for the both of them any more.

  1. Morning Hun,

Hmm why does it sound like reading this that everything with the Professor is "I gotta do this, make this, accomodate that?" Just curious, you dont sound thrilled about things being that way, so why not do something YOU want for a change? 🙂 Cant he make his own food?

  2. Good morning, Lilith!

Sparkler … I’m not entirely sure he *can* make his own food. He lived on take-out before he and I hooked up together. That’s what this whole Indian cooking experiement has been about: The Professor learns to cook a meal. Unfortunately, learning to cook a standard, normal meal doesn’t interest him. I figure I’m lucky he’s trying to learn at all, so I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth there.

As for accomodating him – he’d be hurt as hell if I went off and did my own thing. I know. I’ve tried. Hanging around waiting for him to rise from his coffin is the best accomodation I know of at present.

  3. Won’t it soon be CfH?

    :o)

    Kittens grow up so fast…

And, Ted’s got plenty of those fuzzy mice, without the tails, and some missing eyes, ears, and noses…

    Just finding them is tough.

  4. Your weekend doesn’t sound much different than mine… except your Prof went to bed at 5AM… my S didn’t hit the sheets until 2PM…. yes, that’s right, 2PM. I won’t see him till at least 10 tonight! ANYWAY, LOVE THE PHOTOS AS ALWAYS. KfH looks to be about the same size now as my Jazz (who will be 4 in May).

  5. You are a more patient woman than I 😛 or maybe more loving?? My hubby would sleep all day if I let him. Now we talk about what we want to do/accomplish on the weekends and what time we need to get started. If he wants to participate, he gets up. If not – I go alone. It only took a few times of me really leaving before he figured it out….as for meals.. my Mr. Picky? For years I catered to his likes/dislikes until I realized how limited our list of meals was. Now I cook things I know he likes and sometimes I don’t. There’s always peanut butter in the cupboard. He eats if he’s hungry and guess what…he found out there’s a lot of stuff he does like after all.

Just my experience…different things work for different people.
