Hotmail surprise.

Users who sign up with Hotmail today by default have these personal data sharing options unchecked; but most Hotmail users will currently find “share my e-mail addresss” and “share my other registration information” checked.

I stumbled across the above article yesterday while checking on a virus that hit our company. I took a few minutes today and checked it out on my own hotmail accounts. It took some hunting around, but I found the new fields of which the article speaks, and sure enough, the “Share my email address and “Share my other registration information” boxes (which never even existed before) were checked! To say I was surprised is an understatement. It would also be an understatement to say I was annoyed. I wonder if that explains the explosion of junk mail I’ve seen over the past few weeks (voice dripping sarcasm). I have unchecked the boxes, but I suspect the damage has been done. Votaries of deception and avarice, the lot of them.

LoL, cats are so funny. Specially around animals they have a chance at teasing or eating or just having fun with. Cats are so funny around birds and squirrles and mice.

When our cats catch mice, they usually leave them somewhere as a present. Shadow likes to catch birds and mice and decapitate them and leave their guts or half their body in front of our door.

The other cats when they see birds will get as close to the window as they can and make this cute sound, its funny.

    Anyway, thats too funny!

  4. Ahhh you are the true pet detective. The mystery is solved! But I fear that you underestimate ACfH. I’m sure she already knew what the squirrel was up to. She just hasn’t revealed all her cards yet….

  5. LOL what a funny story & great pics. Mr. Squirrel is cute. Poor ACfH, though!

I don’t know about the Dachsie. Her heat SHOULD start sometime during the summer. What I’m thinking is could the heat have gone without me noticing it and especially the male dogs at the obedience school. I mean, when the Retriever is in heat, like now, the whole neighbourhood’s doggie boys have gone nuts. They HOWL after her. I never know how long their heats last or when they come *sighs*. I gotta start writing that stuff down in my calendar so I can predict things a bit better.

Have a nice rest of the day :). Btw, forgot to say this when commenting on the previous entry: your new home sounds really nice :).

    Love

  6. Maybe you should write another complaint e-mail, you know, one of "Salamander’s Specials" for those mean people ;). That’d be fun for us readers LOL.

I once had a Hotmail account and it was always full of junk mail so I stopped using it. My current e-mail program Incredimail is alright except I still get a couple of junk mails every day.
