Nearly Ready.

I finally got to sleep around 8:00 this morning. I woke up around 11:30. That means I got perhaps five hours sleep tonight. I hope I sleep well and early tonight, because I have to get up early tomorrow to run errands before I can leave for my weekend get-away.

Got a call from the Big City Hospital about noon – they want the MRI films that were taken in August while I was hospitalized. The jerk who initially read them thought my caudate lobe was a tumor, and wrote that on the charts. When a bunch of other doctors read the films, they said he was wrong. Unfortunately, since the word “cancer” is on the readings, Big City Hospital now wants to evaluate them for themselves. This means I have to run out and pick up the films tomorrow morning, before we leave. That rather blows my plans of packing and straightening up in the morning.

This evening my coworker brings his daughter over for the Cat Orientation. I made a nice little chart on Word with pictures of the cats and what each cat needs, so she shouldn’t have any trouble. My one big concern is that the right black-and-white felid gets its medicine. I don’t really think that should be a problem though. O’Beast is so much cuter than Catitude that I don’t think a mix-up is possible.

And lest I forget:

THE SOCIALIST GOT HIS FRIGGEN CAR BACK TODAY!

Please let that be an end to it. I will personally wring the neck of the next person who has the audacity to hit his car.

And now, I’d best get packing.
