Baying at the Moon

It’s 5:00.

The moon is gibbous. I have no clue if its waxing or waning.

The cats are scattered throughout the apartment, curled up in their respective favorite nooks. This means, of course, that the kitten is napping on the fresh laundry.

There are dishes in the sink. I couldn’t be bothered.

The alarm clock rings in two hours, signaling me to rise so I can get dressed, feed the felids, and head to the hospital for yet another abdomenal tap. I have to remember to arrange for another MRI while I’m there – Big City Hospital said they want a new one to check the progress of the disease.

I am freaking wide awake. Guess I should have taken one of those sleeping pills after all.

  1. Don’t you just love cherry trees? They give everything a magical quality in the spring while they bloom. I love getting caught up in a blizzard of petals!

Hey, how do you & the Prof. like your Matrix? Does the advertised EPA match the actual EPA? How is the comfort? Do you find the engine to be somewhat gutless, or does it have decent response when you need to move quickly? I’ve been looking at them and a couple of others online lately with the intent of making a purchase in a few years. I don’t want to go into the next car purchase blind like we have the last couple!
