I am so excited and so worried.

  10. The person posting a comment above as The Socialist is concerned that he might not be believed because he has not posted here before. Readers here have probably seen me comment on this diary in the past, and Palimpsest has sometimes mentioned me in her entries so I hope it will confirm The Socialist’s identity if I vouch for him. I received separate communication from him this morning letting me know about his comment here, and I can verify it is indeed him.

  11. Good Luck!

All the best for a quick and easy recovery, I’m so glad that your chance came, and I hope all goes well for you.

*Adds her good karma to Magic’s*

A great adventure starts for you – not many people have a second chance to grasp life and run with it again. I hope everything works out to perfection (even if it takes time) and that whatever dreams you had before your transplant that are left to come true – well, I hope ALL of them do!

    Heather

  17. :::: getting goosebumps:::: Alrightee!! Sounds like she’s coming out from the woods..

    Hey – Where is the party!!! ??? !!! :o)

::: Sending you our best wishes ! :::::

  18. A googolplex of thanks for these well-wishes! I think I’ll print them up and send them to Palimpsest when I visit her again tomorrow.

Haven’t had a chance to send or read any e-mails, so if any of you are waiting, just hang on a little longer.

All is going superbly. There are no signs of rejection and all vital signs are as good as can be after such a surgery as this. With luck she’ll be home again in 10 days, though that is not guaranteed. She seemed surprised by the number of comments her last, brief entry evoked.

  19. YIPEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for both you and the Socialist!!! And anyone else that knows and loves you!!! This is the best news EVER!!! I too am goosebumpy, which is saying something since it is 80 degrees in here! As usual, I am a day late and a dollar short, but know that my belated thoughts are with you and your recovery process. May everything go amazingly well.

    Much love and blessings,

    ~Cali

  21. Oh good, I am glad she is doing great post-op, that is wonderful news! I am keeping my fingers crossed that she is able to be released in 10 days.

Reading all the comments has been very uplifting. I am especially pleased to see lots of comments from names I am not familar with as well as the usual gang.

    Get Well Soon Sal!

    We miss you!

  22. Tears of joy are welling up in my eyes. Congratulations Pal, I am so happy for you. As always, you are in my thoughts.
