What was I thinking?

I got up an hour earlier than normal to study. I could use another couple of weeks to go over brand/generic names (we need to have well over 200 of the memorized, and since most are human-only drugs they are not in my previously acquired veterinary repertoire). We need to know legal history of pharmacology, a little ancient history (QUICK! Who was the daughter of Aesculapius, and what does her name mean today?) I need to know scheduled (controlled) drugs and which schedule they appear on, how to read script abbreviations (veterinarians are soooo much more sensible there – the abbreviations look like what they’re supposed to mean for the most part). I need to know how to read the codes on the side of prescription bottles. And that’s just the first three chapters – there’s thirteen more after that, five of which we never really went over in class so I had to study on my own.

So what was I thinking, scheduling a dental appointment four hours before the test? I need to get my freaking head examined.

Wait. It’ll be examined at 2:00 this afternoon, won’t it?
