Walk-a-thon
The Walkathon for the American Cancer Society went well. I was lucky to have gotten the 2-4 a.m. shift since it poured rain on the people who were walking during the more “prime” times. I had 70 degrees, not real humid, candle-lit walking conditions that made the two hours go relatively quickly. I was able to walk no problem, even with the missing toenail.
I notice that, with the nail gone, a “fold” is starting to appear on the toe where the nail bed is. I hope that won’t spell trouble for the nail when it attempts to grow back.
A "fold"…that doesn’t sound TOO ominous…but never underestimate the power of skin. Seriously.
Hope all goes well!
