Clueless Returns.

With the aid of an appetite enhancing drug, they got CW to eat a bit at the vet’s this morning. He managed to keep it down for a few hours, so after a bit of a talk with the vet on call today we decided to let CW come home and see how he fares in more familiar surroundings.

Mr. Squirrel came by shortly afer we returned, when CW was firmly ensconsed atop the back of the loveseat, peering out the balcony door. I’d like to say that Mr. Squirrel was just paying a courtesy call, checking on CW’s well-being, but apparently not. We finally discovered what the attraction is on the balcony for Mr. Squirrel, but more on that later.

Meanwhile, here’s Mr. Squirrel, checking out CW (who really wasn’t that interested in Mr. Squirrel in return). Clueless isn’t really “right” yet, but it’s still good to have him home.

  1. Well I’m sad to hear kitty is still not up and about. Hope you have some success getting him to eat a little something! As for the Prof reading your diary… I’m sure that he will see a lot of truth there and hopefully will not react adversely. When I first told Bill about my own he wanted to read it all, but then after reading the first couple entries he decided that somethings were probably best left alone. Besides, if he read it… what would we have to talk about? Personally, it’s a relief to me to know that he doesn’t read it… cause then I can be as candid as I’d like to be. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend! Love ya, Jen

  2. I have to say, I have only like 2 people who know about my diary but never even read it…Kind of makes me feel awkward…But, eh I dunno…I hope that Clueless gets better! Hurts me to hear the little ones feeling like that… *crosses fingers*

  3. I hope kitty eats for you.

My husband reads my diary. He gets poopy if I go a day without putting something, anything, in it.

  4. I love the pic of the squirrel framed in CW’s ears! Glad to hear he is feeling better.

No one knows about my diary. I purposely haven’t told anyone, as I would not be able to write as freely knowing so-and-so was reading it. I have been very tempted to tell a few.

I am laughing wondering what the prof thought when he read the entry about his first time cooking the Indian dinner (how late it got)and the dishes. Seriously, you have been kind, and your writing stlyle makes for great reading.

  5. get well, get well soon, cw.

a few people know about my journal, but they don’t read it, to my knowledge. i write the unreadable elsewhere, though.

  6. My late, much-lamented Siamese Sam had a weakness for roast chicken.

If he refused that, then he was absolutely seriously ill.

I hope good old home cooking works for you and CW!
