Incinerator

The world is burning. Mother Nature turns arsonist. Matches become weapons. Touch the button, a bomb explodes. The timer hits zero, shrapnel flies. Depress the key and the inflammatory cocktail whizzes along an electronic pathway to detonate at its assigned address. Forget to set the parking brake and the car becomes a missile, its targets not always innocent but random nonetheless.

Wires fray, tempers fray, once more into the fray dear friends. Bridges fry, words fly, humans cry, hopes die, shadows lie, sides vie, smoky sky, silent sigh, ask why.

I worry for friends too close to their respective fires. And some days I haven’t a clue what I’m talking about.

  1. How sad that two boring suits at Starbucks were joking about the good aspects of deforestation. We have no forests so they can’t catch fire. Sadly they also made sense.

  2. I saw someone throw a cigarett out of the window on my way to work today. Hello??? Haven’t you been watching the news?

Anyway, hope you are not affected in any way.
