The Dilemma
I can’t contact them without giving them a valid address on me as well as some limited other information on myself. And if you read their little set of bylaws, they say they don’t promise to take any action if you do contact them. You’ll have to prove in some way that you are the author of said blog (which means providing yet more information) and even with proof they aren’t obligated to do anything.
Before I contact Blogshares (and I will, using a dummy email address constructed especially for the occasion) I want to find out everything I can about them. It will probably be a few days before I take any action, after I gather what information I can. It’s a case of “know thy enemy”.
Meanwhile, “Aspirus” continues to garner hits as well. There are hidden currents to the tides of the Net that I may never understand.
That’s pretty scary, isn’t it? If I were you, I would contact the site and have then remove your diary and try to find out who submitted it.
That’s weird. I’ve never heard of that place either. Sometimes I wonder what the underbelly of the internet is incubating….

That does sound concerning. I’m uncomfortable with the fact that I’ve submitted my personal details to countless of websites during the past six years.
Don’t do horse shows in Philly. Maybe when I’m actually *good* <smile>. Right now being a novice at the local level doesn’t get me more than 50 miles from Baltimore. Sometimes there are clinics in NJ, and maybe in a year or two if I’m feeling brave. I’ll probably meet you before then, ya know. Like the wedding. I do come to PA for Longwood Gardens or corgi events. Both our dogs came from Landenburg. We visit the breeders to see new crops of puppies now and then. If you are ever down this way, definitely let me know and we can synchronize calendars.
