Epilogue
I picked up WP’s ashes on the way home from work tonight. When I got Clueless Wonder’s ashes back some years ago they came in box covered in a bright red satin print. I ended up finding a nice raku art piece that doubles as an urn. WP’s ashes came in a beautiful little wooden box with her name on a brass plate and a tiny lock and key. It’ll be up to The Prof to decide whether he wants something else for her, but I find I like the box.
The Prof comes home late tonight; technically, he actually comes home early tomorrow. I’ve tucked the box away in his study, so it isn’t the first thing he sees when he comes in the door.
It will be nice to have The Prof home again.
