“Into the Arms of Mystery Bound”
Damn. I just had one of those stupid misheard lyrics moments and now feel like a total jerk. Richard Thompson does a song that’s on his new “Action Packed” anthology, which I got a few weeks back. It was originally from “Mock Tudor”, a cd I never got around to purchasing. I love this song. I have even been known to sing along with it in the car.
I finally got around to looking at the liner notes for “Action Packed.” It isn’t “Into the Arms of Mystery Bound”. It’s “Into the Arms of Mr. Rebound“. I mean, come on! “Mystery bound” doesn’t even make any sense in context.
I believe I’ll go slink off into the corner and put my dunce hat on now.
