M&M’s, Weekend Getaway, and the Star Wars Countdown.
Well, I’ve got the weekend get-away set up. I managed to get Friday off, so I can stay out late after the Star Wars movie and not suffer for it. We’ll leave some time Friday afternoon after overfeeding the cats. I found an inexpensive place to stay just outside the town I wanted to go to, and got the Elder Sister to agree to feed the critters and pill Clueless Wonder Saturday. Sunday we’ll be back in time to feed and pill again, and the cats should be sufficiently hungry to actually be grateful for our return, as opposed to resentful we left them.
We’re nearly ready to sign on the bottom line for the new apartment. I’m hoping we can do that Friday before we leave. We can move in as early as July 12th, although I see that as highly unlikely, since I’m in Nashville July 13-18th. We’re eyeing up the 19th as a potential move date. That gives us two weeks to get everything moved, so there won’t be a 24 hour rush to get things done. Anything I can do to make this go more smoothly has got to be a good thing.
Thirty-one hours until Star Wars Episode II. Life is worth living.
