Thanks, Anne Oakley:

Anne just put me on to How long will you live? I have to say, the results surprised me. And if it doesn’t work this time, Jade, go to: http://www.longtolive.com .

Your average life span is: 89 Years Old

By modifying your Health, Lifestyle, Diet and Environment you can live to be: 98 Years Old

You were born on Sunday, June 10, 1956. You have lived 16,802 days and have 15,683 days left to live. Lets make them count!

You should die on Friday May 19, 2045 at 9:36:38 PM.

Well, The Prof should be pleased. I know it’s a (usually unspoken) worry of his that I’ll die first, since I’m fifteen years older than he is. According to this site, if I just do nothing, you guys are going to be stuck with me for a long time anyhow.

Of course, the site neglected to ask pertinent little questions like heart health history. I fear that may complicate the calcs a bit.

  1. You need to take the e-mail addy’s of the persons mailing you and go sign them up for all kinds of online newsletters! Be sure to include giving the addy to military recruiters and churches telling them that you would like them to send as much information as possible to that address…

  2. Yes, do what Allimom suggested, that’d serve them right. And if they ever find out it was you tell them you can remove them from all the lists – however, you do need their account number to do just that :D.

  3. Somehow I sincerely doubt that even the most ardent spam-meister is going to believe that [email protected] wants to join the army or purchase pleasure toys. No, my hope of being avenged lies within the seeds of this diary entry. Let those who read this feel free to copy and paste, or provide the URL to others. Word gets around.

  4. Priceless!

Oh, and in answer to your question, no, I didn’t think to save the worm for the vet… figured if I walked in with that they’d think I was loonie! I’ll know better next time!

  5. Oh my gosh the Double Day drama has to be annoying as heck to you..Its almost like u wonder if they are getting your emails and zapping u off the same stuff over and over..UGH!!! Dont let up, maybe a human will respond back to you rather than the computer 🙂

  6. I have never had problems with my Bank of America cards, and get airline mileage with them also. Low interest, friendly people and mileage. What more could you ask for?

  7. I’m always surprised when you mention how much older than the Prof you are. 😉

I loved your phrase, "the road to Hell is not paved with good intentions; it’s cobbled with Convenience." LOL Why, I was just thinking that today–only without the clever wording!

    That cake looks divine….

  12. Kate & Leopold is a fun movie. While it is not as big as some of the movies you have mentioned, it is very enjoyable and fun. It is no Casa Blanca or Gone With The Wind, but it has Hugh in it, so who cares?!
