The liver transplant operation was a success, and Palimpsest is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit. More later…

Haven’t had a chance to send or read any e-mails, so if any of you are waiting, just hang on a little longer.
All is going superbly. There are no signs of rejection and all vital signs are as good as can be after such a surgery as this. With luck she’ll be home again in 10 days, though that is not guaranteed. She seemed surprised by the number of comments her last, brief entry evoked.
Just a host of good thoughts for you – and my prayers are with you.
