Postcard from the Edge

As all good postcards do, this one arrives after the vacation is over:
It’s that time of year again, when the geese in formation fly in uneasy short bursts and the last spring’s fawns are nearly as big as their mothers. The Prof and I headed to the local Natural Lands Trust reserve to hunt for the elusive monarch caterpillar under a sky that threatened rain but delivered…
I was a “Docent” for the local zoo for about five and a half years. The Docent Council is a group of volunteers that help staff educational activities at the zoo. We’re the ones that give the tours, take the Zoo-2-U van out to the elementary schools and special events in the area. The Docents…
This weekend’s get-away is cancelled. George sees a real vet in about two and a half hours. He was just sick again, and had some more *nasty* diarrhea. The Prof even smelled it from the other end of the apartment. Bathroom door is shut, and the exhaust fan is going at the moment. Thank heaven…
The site is still there – it’s just that my coding skills were absent at 11:00 last night. Then again, there are those who would say my coding skills were never there….

Welcome back!
You are well. You are, presumably, happy. I am pleased. 🙂
It is good to hear from you.
I like the postcard. 🙂

OMG! Brice sent me the exact same postcard when he was in San Francisco two weeks ago. It is hanging on our fridge as I speak.
Glad you are home safe, I’ve missed you.
OMG!!! I was one hour north of San Francisco in Bodega Bay on that very day! We could have met, darn it!
<sigh>

What did you find in the pools? Was the air sweet?
Welcome back Mlle. I’ll take the orange house. I always wants a house on a hill.
Come back to dd…I’m suffering withdrawals. I miss your witty outlook on life.
