What language is this anyway? Spanish? Italian?

Sunday night at Man-who-uses-forty-foot-ladders-to-hang-birdhouses’ was great. Tex and he are rather cute together – it was clear they didn’t want to act too obviously like a “couple”, but they were definitely together. I hope it works out for them. Long distance romances can be hard. The Professor drove us home from Man-who-uses-forty-foot-ladders-to-hang-birdhouses’ – I’d had…
The tests came back negative. The bullet has been dodged. I’m hoping that this episode has taught a few people that the gun really is loaded. I’m really hoping this little situation will convince a few people around here to stop buying the bullets. The gun’s always going to be pointed to our heads. It’s…
First, something I should have done a long time ago. The Anti-Male Bashing Entry What I like about The Professor 1. He’s a neat freak. He doesn’t leave clothes, books, and mail strewn about the apartment. He’s taken over vacuuming duties in the apartment, and does a good job. He takes the trash out regularly…
First, and foremost, thank-you to everyone who left me a message or sent me an e-mail enquiring about me. It was a good feeling to come home today and find my in-bin overflowing. A little overwhelming, perhaps, but a good feeling none-the-less. My doctor’s appointment last Friday led to an immediate admission to the hospital….
Emerson, in case anybody cares. I’d been kicking around the idea of taking a ballroom dancing class. I’ve always wanted to learn to dance properly. The course I was considering is being taught at a local high school. Deadline to enroll is this week. This is one of the few courses I’ve come across in…
At least for me it is. Big Chain Pharmacy Store is open, and I know they’ve scheduled at least one tech to work. It would actually be a great day to have a shift on, since it’s the third day in a row that most doctors’ offices would be closed, meaning at this point there’d…
Spanish 🙂 I found my in spanish too. 🙂
Getting hair done…then ‘nothing’ but coziness sounds terrific*
The sad part about frost is the ‘flowers’ go….but so do the bugs!!
Hope you win the lottery*
A good frost sounds nice right about now…let me go check the current temperature….oh gee, it’s dropped to 91 degrees 😉 at least it’s not 100 right now.

NO! Baseball season isn’t over yet =)
You might consider getting the thing-ah-mah-giggy for the Socialist’s special wheels just in case another flat happens and you are out of cellphone contact.
As the big moan towards christmas builds in volume on line, your shoebox job is a ray of light. We don’t do christmas here, as much as any Westerner with a preschooler with grandparents can not do christmas… Wait a minute. We did buy the kiddo a bike last year. No tree. But a bike and a few pressies. I guess we just don’t want her to be the only person she knows who gets no pressies on christmas day.
But this year, in the name of charity, she and I will TOGETHER (ie. there is a lesson in this for her) take a tag from the christmas tree the local mall erect to elicit tagged gifts for needy children (you write on your tag whether the pressie is suitable for a boy or girl and of what age). I look forward to teaching her that if it is better to give than receive, it is better again to give without expecting to be thanked for it.
Beaster.
PS: 2.5 hours Snood free. 48 previous hours of abstinence were rewarded with my highest score yet! Not sure what the lesson is here… perhaps that I have no self-control?
It’s been 90 degrees the last few days here. I miss the cool weather, but I’m not gonna have to shovel any damn snow or drive home in a blizzard.
I don’t want to start an argument or anything, but that phrase is deffinitely in Italian. There are no words *E* and *di* in Spanish.
As for the weather, tell the Socialist that it was 85 degrees here today, with just enough breeze to keep it from being too hot. 😛

It’s Italian.
