In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
My favorite radio station is doing a “top 885” song countdown. I’m not entirely sure what number they’re down to now, but they started this morning and won’t end until Friday sometime. They just played In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. The long version. Simon and Garfunkle’s “Homeward Bound” has just started. It’s a very surrealistic blast from the past moment.
Ah. In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida was #706. S&G was #705. And the Beatles will be next at #704 with “Eight Days a Week”. Now there’s some trivia for you. Eight Days a Week is supposedly the first song to use a fade out.
Music is good. Numbered music is better. It keeps you from thinking.
Catching up…sorry to hear CW is not feeling well.
Ugh, I never did like "Homeward Bound". Max’s horse is named Koda Chrome, though not for the song they did (at least I think it was them?). He was named Koda for his sire and he had more white (chrome) on him…at any rate, that’s one song I do like, it’s upbeat.
I can only guess the radio station is located on 88.5 or something like that?
It had been a long time so I went to tune in your favorite radio station today, only to find their streaming capability was down! *gnashes teeth*
"I’m sittin in a railway station
Gotta ticket for my destination hmmmm"
Nostalgia!

Leaving a comment because *I* can WOO-HOO. And to say…
…The Friday compression would be bad enough, but the fact that it’s a part-two-er adds to the stress. It’s good that they’re thorough. During my part-two last month, involving DOZENS of compressions, I began thinking of clothes that could be made with the corners of two envelopes, for some reason…but the good news is I got kind of numb after the first five pictures.
Hope you and Clueless will be getting news you can live with soon.
