Ah, but it is still there.,
The site is still there – it’s just that my coding skills were absent at 11:00 last night.
Then again, there are those who would say my coding skills were never there….

OK. I didn’t have anything worthy to write anyhow. This one is from AnneOakley to monstergue to Yetzirah to me. Things seem to be ironing themselves out. Which means that I’m finally regaining some sense of balance again. I’m hoping this means that the black cloud that I’ve kept on a close leash these past few weeks is finally beginning to dissipate. The Professor had his calculus class to teach last night. He didn’t want…
Rough night. Rough days ahead. The diary is mine, but sometimes the story is not mine to tell. As often as not, I’m on the outside, a spectator to things that I play only a peripheral role in. I may be writing from my point of view, but that doesn’t necessarily make me the central…
I can’t get my scanner to work. For some reason, my computer refuses to acknowlege my scanner’s presence. I haven’t used my scanner since I got my new computer desk and rearranged everything, so I’m hoping I just hooked the scanner up to the tower incorrectly. I’ll have a go at checking things out tonight….
Yesterday’s entry regarding vet school was a “wonderful story”? I tend to think of it as pretty pathetic. I sold out for something I didn’t really want to do because of pressure, pride and miscalculation. So what if my Ex insisted he knew me better than I knew myself? Why the hell did I capitulate…
The Little Kiln’s First Run After weeks of reading up on how to do it, I’m running my first batch anneal this afternoon. The reason to batch anneal is to prevent fractures resulting from micro-cracks related to rapid cooling. I’ve been using hot-mats to cool my beads in, which is sufficient to prevent major cracks…
Wow, that dress was obviously just waiting for you! Well done!
Alas, too far to come for a concert. Where’s that teleporting facility when I need it?
Maybe you could "pretend" throw away your disks. And if the two weeks or a month goes by without incident, you could "for really real" throw them away!
Yeah?
😉
Kudos on the dress, the taxes and the concert tickets. I think Yetzirah has a great idea about the disks. Or maybe you could just take a gander at them and see if there really is anything important on them at this point.
As for that huge link, whatever it was for, is now gone. Ah, the power of wishes, LOL!

Tell me more about this dress. I still need to find one, and want to know what all the cool kids are wearing. 😉
i’m so glad you’re over your cold! yay! congratulations on completing your taxes, too. yay! yay!
Glad your cold is on the way out! About time.
Great shopping !!I was at a few sales yesterday, and was so pleased at 50%, but you did even better!! It makes you wonder exactly what the stores have as mark ups to be able to afford 70% off.
Well, I for one would go to the concert with you, but sadly it’s the distance.
Okkies, big hugs.
Later.
You’re right. That IS sick. Things like that make me wonder about the depths of human weirdness.
~Cali
Why not just burn all of your disks onto one CD, keep it for a year, and if nothing is needed on it during that time dispose of it?
Good to hear you’re feeling better.
Alli
You’re wearing a dress? Didn’t you hear the guests are "clothing optional"?
I head in to turn all my tax stuff in to my tax lady. Usually I have it done by now, I’ve been lazy.
I’m speechless over the Save Toby site.

Thats what always happens to me. I throw something out and pretty much a week later I need it. Yup, always happens to me also.
Sounds like everyone is getting their shot at this cold going around. Thank god I got my flu shot and amazingly, ever since, have not been sick. I am very pleased about that.
I was very surprised about my taxes also. I thought I would end up owing them money, but in fact I didnt and they ended up giving me a little over $300.00 which was nice.
Anyway hope your concert goes well!
Love,Alaina
