Overdue

Vacation looms. Was in Milwaukee the end of last week on business; did absolutely nothing that wasn’t on the clock. Good bunch of people, but it was a long way to go to visit the inside of meeting rooms. And now I get to hit the airport and do it all over again, only this time to the Left Coast.

Will have a connect in Chicago tomorrow. Arrive terminal B and depart terminal C. That means I get to go through the Light Tunnel. This time I’m going to have my camera at the ready.

I’m behind on other diaries. Way behind on some. I have good excuses, but no time to write them down. Mostly I’m checking in to prove I’m alive and to assure anyone who gives a ficus that I’m doing well. Sacrum’s intact, lymphoma is mostly held at bay, great liver panels, and blood pressure no worse than usual. They’ve backed me way down (but not yet taken me off of) the steroids, and my blood sugar is now usually below 120, and nearly always below 150. So it isn’t diabetes for me yet, though I apparently qualify for prediabetes. I’m hoping that disappears when the steroids finally do.

Saw Doogie yesterday. He’s turned into a beautiful, rambunctious kitten. I fooled myself into thinking he remembered me.
