Regarding my last entry …
Quote from my last entry:
I told him firmly twice not to do anything about it, making the point that this was just a residual problem that hadn’t been caught during last week’s scheduling shake-up and that I doubted it would happen again.
Yeah, well … I’m a moron. Of course it happened again. The schedule had New Tech working when she had class – she called me to ask if I’d switch with her while I was driving to work.
When I got to work, Senior Tech wanted to switch a shift with me. Apparently she was scheduled for a time she traditionally did not work. Of course I said yes.
Color me an idiot.
What color is “idiot” anyhow?
Wow.
It’s hard to believe things can get that messed up.
Really.
I guess a virtual cookie won’t begin to convey my sympathies will it?
It’s a kinda pinkish-green.

Ugh! How crazy is this! Scheduling shouldn’t be so ridiculous. It’s just plain crazy. I mean, ya’ll know store hours, and when you each can’t work. It seems like you could just sit down take a few minutes and write a really decent schedule and then not mess with it…
But…. noooo… it’s never that easy is it?
It’s not like scheduling is rocket science…..
