Not much of an entry.

I was less inclined to view snowflakes with a kindly eye this morning. One-on-one they are amazing creatures, but last night they roved in gangs. Snowflakes with a mob mentality are not to be taken lightly.

I reflected upon this as I scraped the ice off my car this morning. The driver’s side door was frozen shut, and so I had to crawl over from the passenger’s side to get into my car. This is not an easy feat, given that I drive a stick shift and further given that me squeezing from one side of the car to another is the equivalent of attempting to squeeze a watermelon through a keyhole. Like the watermelon, I was rather on the damaged side by the time I started the ignition and drove my merry way to work. Stupid snow.

Things are status quo at the moment. Still not sleeping, still no real appetite, my weight is up nearly 12 pounds from three weeks ago from water retention. I’m going to try and bump my paracentesis from next week to this week; I’ll call my doctor’s office tomorrow. I’m curious how much they’ll get out of me this time.
