No KfH stories today.

There was no Valentine’s dinner last night. When I got home, The Professor was asleep in bed. I woke him up to let him know I was home (per standing orders that I shouldn’t be afraid to wake him up to let him know I’m back/going out) and he said he’d be getting up shortly.

Nearly two hours later at seven o’clock he stumbled out of the bedroom. Last night was Star Trek night, which left us an hour to scrounge up meal (take-out Chinese again … his choice) and get home in time to watch the new episode. Not exactly the romantic evening I’d hoped for, but at least it was quality couch-potato time. You take what you can get.

Magnetic Poetry Creation for the Day

I was my spring

am my summer

will grow to be my winter

you can be my sun

through the seasons you choose

but I will always be my earth.

Tonight I am on my own … The Professor has class, and has already warned me that he is going to be too busy to have dinner before he leaves. He hinted that he wouldn’t mind having dinner with me when he gets home, but I hate going to bed with a full stomach, and waiting until he gets back means dinner at ten. Valentine’s Day or not, I think I’m going to take a pass on a late dinner.
