Kitten Shots

“The mathematical probability of a common cat doing exactly as it pleases is the one scientific absolute in the world.”

-Lynn M. Osband

I pulled a photo album out of the bottom shelf of one of my bookcases to work on a little project. The album left a kitten-sized gap in the bookcase that a certain opportunist could not resist.

Mischief is still the main source of amusement for ACfH. She discovered the plastic tub I keep her toys hidden in. At first it was just a novelty because the tub made little ringing noises when it was rolled about (thanks to some belled toys stored within). We soon discovered, however, that the real prize came under the lid. And we discovered we know how to open the lid. This is what greeted me this morning:

She’s still smaller than the other two, but the little twerp has grown. Here’s a picture of her the first day she arrived, and another taken last weekend.

And finally, the Warrior Princess has claimed the kitty carrier for her very own. I hate to put it away when it continues to get such use. If WP isn’t atop it, then ACfH is sleeping inside it. Go figure. When it comes time to actually put one of the cats inside, suddenly they all have better things to do.

  1. I love the look on her face as a kitten, she looks just plain ornary…all the pics are very nice.

I discovered that in order to find sleeping kittens, simply open a can of cat food. Presto, kitten appears!

  2. Cute! 🙂 Nemo is always very interested in his carrier when I move it. He doesn’t want to go in it at any other time, but if I pick it up and set it somewhere else, he will plant himself inside it for quite some time. Making sure it’s still his territory, I guess.
