A brief addendum.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the weekend of sunshine, it was the weekend of rain; it was a night at the movies, it was a night of a speeding ticket. I remember the stupid quote, but not the punctuation. I want to write that out as…
I’m not ready for any retirement that requires I stay home all day because I can’t drive.
*Sigh* I did too good a job of cleaning off my desk. I really only have make-work left, except for two items, both of which are beyond my control unless people get back to me. Honestly, I’m hoping they don’t get back to me. I don’t feel like dealing with either of those two items…
One of the things that I’ve omitted mentioning recently is that I itch. I’m not talking little mosquito bite itch. I’m not even talking poison ivy itch. I’m talking itch that makes you seriously consider removing your skin down to the sub-dermal fat layer. I’m talking itch that makes you claw frantically at whatever part…
Crud, crud, crud. The Socialist is on the mend. His cold, realizing that it was being evicted from his nasal passages, has discovered a sweet new little hideaway: my nasal passages. That’s right. I’m sick. It’s the sore throat, runny nose, feel like crap fun and games that I’ll bet hangs on forever. I am…
That looks like such nice fluffy snow.
We were supposed to get a half inch of wet nasty snow, but it never materialized. I don’t want to see what happens to these crazy drivers around here with any kind of cold precip to deal with.
I think Shay and I were reading your diary at the same time. I’m surprised he ever got through it, with me shouting, "KITTY!" and "PRETTY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!" throughout.
Thanks for the photo bonanza! Yeehaw!
It is too bad kitties don’t know how to enjoy snow like dogs do!
Alli

Love your pictures! We still haven’t had any snow, just plenty of ice. Glad you made it to your appointment despite the snowy path.
Your sister’s place looks quite elegant. White anything would never make it in my house.

"The nurses were laughing among themselves that two of the other patients, who were "big, brawny men" and lived only ten minutes away from the hospital, had cancelled."
I wonder if proximity makes them value it less?

Beautiful photos! you are a real trooper heading out into the snow like that. It isn’t so bad. It’s mostly the other drivers that scare me.
