Cultivating pictures.

Well, another morning came and went, and another MRI has been performed on the ol’ hepatic lobes. I figure Dr. K should see the results in a few days, and so I’ll but him around the end of the week to find out if there’s been any changes. It seems rather weird to admit, but I rather enjoy getting MRI’s. You get to lay back, relax, and (at least for my tests) hold your breath a few times. If you keep your eyes closed, it isn’t in the least closed in, and you can imagine yourself on the beach, in a park, back in bed … whatever suits. To be honest, back in bed suited me just fine.

My hanging petunia basket seems thrilled with the cool, moist weather we’re being treated to today. I deadheaded a few petunias, but virutually everything in the planter is a full bloom or bud, so there wasn’t much pruning to do.

This is how my place looks at present. Hanging basket, primroses blossoming merrily away, morning glories poking their heads out of the soil an inch or two … who could ask for anything more? Certainly not me. That lovely blue car at the right of the picture is my little Prius, by the way.

Here’s what my little morning glories should grow up to be. I took the seeds from all the packets and mixed them together, then simply planted randomly. The only things not up yet are the moonflowers, which I spaced semi-evenly along the border and marked with little stakes (actually, I used wooden shish-kabab sticks, but the moonflowers won’t know the difference).

While I was outside taking pictures and doing my thing, my three nosey-pusses had their kitty noses pressed to the glass. I swear, if those three could talk they’d end up being the local gossips and a primary source for this apartment complex’s news. As an added bonus, I see that I’m in the picture too. I’ll pretend I was going for an arty picture and intended it to come out that way.

  1. I hope all goes well for you tomorrow. I sure it is a hard decision laying off work for abit… but you don’t want to run yourself too low.

Will be sending good thoughts your way tomorrow.

I’m glad at least your MELD score is looking better.

  2. Makes me jealous that it is still too cold to put anything out.

I love the color of your car. Max was wondering if it cost more to register?

Cute pic of the kitties. Mine are curled up asleep in various places. Actually, they aren’t really asleep, each time I make a pass thru the kitchen they race in there hoping to be fed again.

(they do have constant dry kibbles…so they aren’t suffering)
