Too Tired to Write Much

I’m exhausted. It seems I’m always exhausted anymore. I’m frankly bored of reading how exhausted I am. I need to get a life, but I’m too tired to go out and look for one.

In spite of my whining, I did have a wonderful weekend. After a lovely sleep-in Saturday, The Socialist and I ran out for a few errands. At a local home-improvement place I picked up an electric drill, which is something I’ve needed forever but somehow never gotten around to purchasing. I also got four trough-style plant stands for the back patio, one of which is designated to hold a small herb garden once I get the stuff for it. Sunday, apparently on the premise I hadn’t done sufficient financial damage to myself, I purchased a floor lamp for my computer room on top of doing some much needed grocery shopping. Ah well, at least my wallet doesn’t weigh me down at this point.

Saturday Dr. Twenty Cats and I will be attending Alumni Day at the Veterinary School. I’ll be able to pick up some continuing education credits, and catch up with a few friends. The school is a few hours away from me, so we’ve booked a room Friday night to make things a little easier on the both of us. There will be a picnic lunch and a dinner that Twenty Cats and I are planning to attend as well.

I’m waiting on a return call from Dr. Liver to get the scoop on my latest liver MRI. I don’t know why I’m so anxious about this, but I’ll be glad to hear from him and find out where things stand now.
