Hey Slipper!
It sure does end “/Legend”. I just messed up the slash when I inserted the space. Thanks for catching that. I fixed it in the code sample.

So I was talking with a male friend yesterday online, someone who I respect rather highly. In the midst of the conversation (which was sort of a back and forth joke about what do guys/gals really want) he said: From what I’ve seen especially over at the diary site in many hostile entries, it’s very…
My CD with “The Cat Carol” arrived in the mail yesterday. I meant to bring it into work with me today, but in my haste to get out the door this morning I forgot both that and my employee ID badge. I miss both these items. A new CD would have been an extraordinary help…
I’ve been working on a couple of entries/projects: – I’ve taken a good number of pictures at the local preserve, and hope to take some more today or tomorrow. Leaves are peaking here now, and even on an overcast day some of the oranges and yellows glow of their own accord, as though some of…
Helene. Told two years ago she’d never walk again, she got pissed at the doctor who made the pronouncement and decided to prove him wrong. Today’s torture session is proof of just how wrong that blasted doctor was. She’s four foot eleven inches of exuberant energy. She’s very nice, very encouraging, and very demanding. *sigh*…
A haiku for Mondays, in honor of Ed Stun, who is apparently missing in action: Its name means “Moon-day” Monday proves the moon is cheese Gorgonzola stinks I stumbled into work today operating on insufficient sleep and a caffeine deficit. One was easily fixed, the other threatened to fix itself as my eyelids encountered some…
Thereâs a fancy Japanese restaurant in a nearby town that I went to a few times back in the 80âs and maybe early nineties. Itâs one of those places where they only set out chopsticks for the patrons. They donât even have Western eating utensils available for guests. The food was ridiculously good, but I…
Hi,
Thanks for the tip on the "view source", that should come in quite handy as I am an HTML idiot. For my birthday, I hope someone buys me ‘HTML For Dummies’, lol.
I can imagine that your days DO creep along. While I have never had surgery on such a grand scale as you, recouperation has just got to be the most boring thing on earth. You can only watch so much daytime TV (shudders)and read so many magazines before utter maddness sets in and you start contemplating ways to torture the houseplants for fun…….
Take Care,
Bobbi
While I am not recouping from major surgery, I can feel your boredom. I am so sick of meaningly days. I can hardly wait until Monday when I begin my field and have busy productive time again.
TV and books can only go so far.
Here’s to hoping the darn incision quits giving you grief soon!
It is a doublesome pain when you are not well and bored at the same time. Try to pick up a new hobby or ANYTHING to do, to keep your mind occupied while your body is healing.
I hope that your days of the future get BETTER for you.
Honey
i’m so glad to read you again! sorry about the pain and boredom, but they mean you’re still here.
hey, does that LEGEND end? /LEGEND?
