Hey Slipper!
It sure does end “/Legend”. I just messed up the slash when I inserted the space. Thanks for catching that. I fixed it in the code sample.

Still feeling unsettled, disconnected. A bit of this may simply have to do with my energy level, which is abysmal today. There is a short, seven step rise into the main part of our company’s building, and today was the first time I ever needed to rest part of the way up the stairs. My…
Your life is never the same, you know. They don’t talk about that when they give you the “this is what you should expect” speech. They tell you about the scar you’ll have, and the drugs you’ll take, and the things you will and won’t be allowed to do. But they make it sound like…
Part 1: Short Stories I’ve been going through my “library” of science fiction books, looking to reread old friends that I haven’t visited in too long a time. I’ve read Holdstock’s Mythago Wood, which was a more difficult and intricate read than I remembered. I’ve worked my way through LeGuin’s Earthsea books, and have just…
CAUTION! As with all allegorical remarks, don’t assume I’m talking about you I’m not. If you feel the allegory is false, misleading, or incomplete, feel free to tell me why. And if you feel it’s targeted at you, ask yourself why you feel that way. But don’t go blaming me. I find people perplexing at…
And I’m still frustrated, and I’ll even admit to being a little fearful. The ascites (which is what my “bloating” is – free fluid accumulating in the abdomen) continues to worsen. I slept for perhaps two hours total last night. There is no way to lie down comfortably any more. When I got up this…
Date: Mon, 20 Jan 2003 Subject: 20th of January I think that’s a wonderful way of dealing with the situation, Sal! And I don’t know that this comment is exciting enough to add to an entry. I just wanted to offer kudos to you on not letting the comment-disabling impact you. “MoonriddenGirl.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Date: Mon,…
Hi,
Thanks for the tip on the "view source", that should come in quite handy as I am an HTML idiot. For my birthday, I hope someone buys me ‘HTML For Dummies’, lol.
I can imagine that your days DO creep along. While I have never had surgery on such a grand scale as you, recouperation has just got to be the most boring thing on earth. You can only watch so much daytime TV (shudders)and read so many magazines before utter maddness sets in and you start contemplating ways to torture the houseplants for fun…….
Take Care,
Bobbi
While I am not recouping from major surgery, I can feel your boredom. I am so sick of meaningly days. I can hardly wait until Monday when I begin my field and have busy productive time again.
TV and books can only go so far.
Here’s to hoping the darn incision quits giving you grief soon!
It is a doublesome pain when you are not well and bored at the same time. Try to pick up a new hobby or ANYTHING to do, to keep your mind occupied while your body is healing.
I hope that your days of the future get BETTER for you.
Honey
i’m so glad to read you again! sorry about the pain and boredom, but they mean you’re still here.
hey, does that LEGEND end? /LEGEND?
