Traumatic Realization
Tuesday, April 16th, Dar Williams is coming to my area. I purchased tickets months for this months ago, the same day they announced she was coming. I got two tickets, one for me and one for The Socialist, who is willing to sit through the concert even though he doesn’t much care for her music….
Snowflakes, livers and odds.
*grumble* I didn’t sleep well last night. No, let me amend that statement. I didn’t sleep last night. That’s a far more accurate way of phrasing it. The results show today. I’m inattentive, unproductive, and ornery. I’m also not hungry. Looks like a can of Ensure for dinner tonight. Joy. It gave me time to…
More Kitten from Hell
I downloaded the pictures from my digital camera to my computer last night, and picked a few for KfH’s fan club. The orientation of this first picture is absolutely correct – it’s the cat that is cockeyed. She’s discovered the part of my computer desk where the tower is supposed to go. I don’t keep…
New Beginnings.
Receiving the final divorce papers wasn’t as upsetting as I thought it was going to be. Even though I’d initiated the divorce, one does not leave a marriage of over twenty years lightly. I trust the fact that I’m only lightly unsettled by this means that I’ve done the right thing. I hope there’s no…
No Sequins, No Sleep and Socialists.
WHY must that man always want to discuss that damned car of his at 1:00 in the morning? Now he’s asleep and I’m awake, and once again I am NOT a happy camper. That settles it. I’m blowing up the car repair shop AND shooting him. THEN maybe I’ll get some sleep. Or at least…
Like an Oak on the Wire
One of the few pictures I took that includes any portion of it. This was last February, during the snow storm that dumped over eighteen inches on my area. Picturesque it was not, though I suspect by the set of its trunk it had been a fine sapling. It didnât fork, it didnât kink, and…

Okay, I give up, what in blazes is Woodchuck cider?
I like #7, especially if you stress the word ‘look’, ala Chandler on ‘Friends’ (which I grew out of years ago… really)!
Glad the Socialist made it home safely. That artificial tree is the same size as mine!
Ahhh…that was a refreshing entry of laughter, tears, and nose picking. Thanks!
I didn’t but I do now. I always collect a little knowledge from here =)
I like 28 and 61. I think I will find reasons to use them often!

*giggles at the witty comebacks*
LOL at the witty comebacks!! Some are very good.
Glad the Socialist made it home safe and sound.
Sounds like you just hooked your scanner up wrong, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that is all it is. But tonight forget checking the hookup for the scanner and instead hookup with the Socialist. 🙂 🙂 🙂
