I was cruising through MoonriddenGirl’s diary this evening and discovered a series of rather fun links related to people’s names. The random name generator she linked to rechristened me “Leala Lindsay”. Leala? I’m not sure about that. It sounds like some made-up name from a really bad science fiction movie. The list of top three…
For all who have asked … I’ll do the interview questions over the weekend. I hadn’t anticipated that more than a couple people would be interested.
So welcome to my world. A world where, yet again, Dr. Liver has patients who need his care more than I. Yesterday I had my desk packed up, my briefcase zipped, and was reaching for my coat when the phone rang. It was Dr. Liver’s office, regretfully informing me that, for reasons known only to…
21 Mar 2003 – Today I turn Six. 21 Mar 2002 – Today I Turn Five. In seven years, I have never once forgotten this day. I have anticipated it, relived the events in my mind, spent the day in reflection, and taken time to list how lucky I am and how good life has…
I seem to be going through one of my insomnia cycles again. I had hoped this would disappear when I got my replacement liver, but it seems I am not to be so fortunate. I did get a rather good score on Snood last night, but I’d rather have gotten some sleep instead. This weekend…
Well, New Mexico is still tentatively on. I managed to get the follow-up doctor’s appointment rescheduled to Monday the 12th, although I was warned that I could expect a long wait. No problem. I’ll just take a couple of good books with me. I spent last night with my legs elevated, as per orders. Can’t…
Do you get Hamimail? If so, I’ll send you an article that I found very clear-eyed. Anyway, I’m glad you live in Pennsylvania. At least your vote counts. I don’t know if I could vote for Nader in order to garner a vote for Kerry. It sounds like something the Radical Right would endeavor to challenge legally. 2000’s election theft was traumatic enough. Plus Nader gets less and less appealing every year, JMHO.
Hope Clueless is eating lots of liverwurst. Have you tried baby foods? My Dad’s cats love the vegetables like squash, peas, spinach on the kibble.
History shows time and time again, that when the climate is unstable, people usually prefer to go with the devil they know.
Our recent election showed this . Someone I thought would go, didn’t…
Re CW..ALL i CAN SAY IS I AM SENDING HIM AND YOU THE BIGGEST HUG EVER!!!
My heart goes out to CW, and I know this has been really tough on you.
Please give CW a tickle under the chin for me, pleaseeeee.
xoxoxo
Glad to hear Clueless is back home and I hope he begins to recover his strenght. Looks like both you and I are going to be dissapointed in this election. Although it is not official it looks like we will endure another four years of Bush. I hope and pray this country can make it that long. Have a wonderful day and rememeber to do random acts of kindness whenever possible.
