I Should Be Ashamed of Myself
Some very nice person sent me a handmade present in totally unnecessary thanks for something I’d done for her. I’m not sure what the proper name is, but I’m choosing to call it a Totem bag because I plan on using it for small keepsakes that have meaning to me.
The problem is that the first thing I chose to do with it was totally out-of-line with the sentiments of the package. I seriously love this bag, but you have to understand. I sat down to open the package it came in, not knowing what was inside. While I was sitting there working open the flap, this cat jumped up and sat on my lap. Suddenly, there I was, hat-in-hand so to speak.
Forgive me. I couldn’t help myself.

That is a lovely look for the cat. He is such a cute cat. For a bag, it looks great as a hat for the cat.
