Falling off the fence.
I’ll get the obligatory medical update over with quickly, so I can move on to less boring matters. I’m blimping up pretty rapidly at the moment. Yesterday I gained 4 pounds, which is a new personal record, and one I hope not to break any time in the near future. It’s my own fault though….

OK, so the orthopedist informs me that âpeople our ageâ take a little longer to heal, and rather than releasing me to work after six weeks, he wants to see me at the seven week point to reevaluate the break. So I go back for a re-check on April 26, and if Iâm really lucky…

In re: your comment, "tambien" is not English. It’s a term I picked up years ago from a Mexican American girl. Though bilingual, she tended to mix a lot of Spanish into her English. I picked up the word "tambien," which means also. But so far as I know I’ve never slipped before and used it out loud (or on paper). 🙂 Why I should substitute the word "tambien" for the word "also" in my head is unknown to me. It’s not like "also" is a long word.

i found a worm in my salad at an ihop years ago. i was disgusted, but the waitress and manager were even more disgusted than me. they offered me a free meal anytime and paid for the worm salad. i’m sure they tossed it after i left.

Can you right-click and check the properties on the cd burner in My Computer? If you shared it, you may need to give Everyone full control.
