Sunday night at Man-who-uses-forty-foot-ladders-to-hang-birdhouses’ was great. Tex and he are rather cute together – it was clear they didn’t want to act too obviously like a “couple”, but they were definitely together. I hope it works out for them. Long distance romances can be hard. The Professor drove us home from Man-who-uses-forty-foot-ladders-to-hang-birdhouses’ – I’d had…
KfH has found a fine place to recuperate from her operation – on top of the telephone under my desk light. I just wish someone had called me while she was there. I don’t think the operation has slowed her down much.
Armed with pain meds (dulling both my nerves and my brain) I decided it was safe to go back into the water. Put less prosaically, I was way over-due for a shower. I’ve been doing my best at the sink, but it just isn’t the same thing. While painful, the experience of lukewarm water on…

Sounds like it will be fun! Enjoy yourself, and who knows, maybe The Socialist will surprise you and be right by your side every step of the way!

Yes ma’am, those are indeed sheep shears. I have several pairs of them all over the house. One never knows when one might be called upon to shear a sheep in an emergency, lol.
Seriously, my friends, knowing my passion for antique tools, have given me some really interesting things, sheep shears among them.
I am not sure if that is a muskrat trap. It is a vermin trap of some sort. There is also a mink trap up there near it, lol. If times get hard, I can always go trap my dinner. Muskrat stew, anyone??
I’ll support you
Cant send you money, but I am wishing the big winds give you speed.

Tell me how and where, and I will see if I can sponsor you. Have to clear it with the husband, as per our $$ agreement. 😉
