Today would have been my father’s 83rd birthday. He’s been dead for twelve years now, but I haven’t yet forgotten his birthday when it comes by. He hated birthdays, or any fuss being made. He hated anything that departed from routine. He didn’t even like taking vacations away from the house. He was a tough…

Or is it just me locked out? NooNoo – great entry! You might have had to look up some words, but you got them just right when you wrote the essay!
Cats All good entries start with cat updates. Another month, another set of vet visits. This time itâs LBS, who still has diarrhea at one end and major kitty snuffles at the other end. She seems to be improving, but has lost weight to the point where the Prof is just about running after her…

Yes ma’am, those are indeed sheep shears. I have several pairs of them all over the house. One never knows when one might be called upon to shear a sheep in an emergency, lol.
Seriously, my friends, knowing my passion for antique tools, have given me some really interesting things, sheep shears among them.
I am not sure if that is a muskrat trap. It is a vermin trap of some sort. There is also a mink trap up there near it, lol. If times get hard, I can always go trap my dinner. Muskrat stew, anyone??
I’ll support you
Cant send you money, but I am wishing the big winds give you speed.

Tell me how and where, and I will see if I can sponsor you. Have to clear it with the husband, as per our $$ agreement. 😉
