I’m not making an entry today.

April is Donate Life month.

Please take time to talk to your family about organ donation if you haven’t already. Remember that you aren’t an organ donor unless your family knows. Even if you are a registered donor carrying a driver’s license or other card confirming this, your family has last say on the issue when you can no longer speak for yourself.

Gift of a Lifetime

I’m not making an entry today. Please spend the time you’d ordinary devote to my entry at the above website. And if you can, at some point this month mention in one of your entries that it’s organ donation month, and perhaps share your feelings or maybe even your own story about it.

Thanks.

  1. Nope, Sal, I can’t live off-campus alone until I’m a junior (technically I could, but they discourage this greatly), and I don’t have the cash. I doubt I could get a loan for housing that’s not on campus.

My family knows I want to be a donor, and my mother does, too. I have it on my driver’s license saying I wish to donate whatever I can. I know it’s saved your life, and I hope if I go, and my organs can be of use, then I hope they can save someone else’s life, too.

  2. I didn’t realize it was organ donation month. We are all organ donators in our house.

Hope your feeling better. I just got done reading the last entry.

Your primroses look better than mine. In fact, I only have about 10 that have come back up. I bet I had close to 50 planted around my maple tree.
