Sunday night at Man-who-uses-forty-foot-ladders-to-hang-birdhouses’ was great. Tex and he are rather cute together – it was clear they didn’t want to act too obviously like a “couple”, but they were definitely together. I hope it works out for them. Long distance romances can be hard. The Professor drove us home from Man-who-uses-forty-foot-ladders-to-hang-birdhouses’ – I’d had…
So, Slipperman, you want to know how I feel after I exercise? In a word, exhausted. Sweaty, sticky, smelly, painful, out-of-breath exhausted. Part of it, I’m sure, is simply because I am out of shape. But even when I was doing 75 – 100 miles per week on my bike, I hated it. Whatever this…
heh – I was so busy worrying about events beyond my control yesterday that I actually forgot to write about what’s been happening this weekend. And things are indeed happening. Friday night started off the weekend nicely. The Professor and I went out for Indian Friday night (I’m getting better at figuring out things that…
I was at loose ends last night when I got home, so I went for a walk. I’d gone for a walk about my apartment complex the night before, and explored a bit along the creek and woods that are part of our grounds. The spring wild flowers are just starting to hit their stride,…
Today if you touch me, I bleed. If my skin were any thinner, it would probably simply sublimate from my body. As it is, my nerves are exposed, and motes of dust set off pain as though I’d been hit with a hammer. I am tired of the endless debate on what the U.S.’s response…
It’s a slow, grey afternoon. The highlight so far has been the discovery that my neighbor’s car door opener sounds identical to the input pad on my microwave oven. I was sitting at my desk, staring at my 5748th game of Snood (no lie, I took that directly off of the Snood score page) and…
Wow. Day from hell.
And just for the record… I’m NOT laughing.
Hope things improve dramatically VERY soon.
Oh, hells bells. When it rains in pours. Seems the whole shabang hit you at once. Don’t know what to say except that I will be thinking about you. The blood pressure is a worry, though.
Go have some tea (tannic acid relieves intestinal upset and might even help with the migraine) and go back to bed.
Hugs,
Bobbi
*SIGH*
Feel better soon. What a freaking drag.
S.
That is one of the crappiest days I’ve ever heard of. *hug*
At least it sounds as if your washing machine isn’t on the fritz. It was just the power outage that kept it from working, right? *tries to be optimistic*
I’m so sorry, that is a horrible day!!!! I wonder if your blood pressure had anything to do with everything else that was going on with your body. I would imagine having all those ailments converge on one day would raise anyone’s blood pressure!!!
Hope you’re feeling better soon.

Hurray for black pants…
feel better soon, and I’m not laughing either.
