Today I turn six. For those of you interested in full details I refer you to last year’s entry on thisToday I Turn Five. I’ll provide a Reader’s Digest version for anyone who has better things to do than dredge up my past entries, though. On March 21, 1997 I collapsed at school and was…
I know they’re over, but the feel of “holiday” still lingers. The little white lights in the snow and ice still give me the warm fuzzies. The cats in their Christmas collars still look too adorable to put back into their everyday harness. I still like turning on my Christmas tree at night and watching…
LintaSossy had this on her most recent diary entry. I was intrigued. After all, I used to be wicked at Monoploy. Your score is 30 The most frequently received point is 4 (4/10) Take the Monopoly Piece Quiz! I’m afraid it’s the utter truth.
I took this picture of my garden on June 3, then kept forgetting to post it. The garden looks far different now. You can’t even see the cleome in the back at this point, but now it’s starting to really take off. The Canterbury Bells are on their last legs, though I’d read they’d keep…
I guess I need to start up from where I left off yesterday. Our cliffhanger: The Socialist, stranded in territories unknown, with his beloved Palimpsest unable to assist (or even abet). The poor man went out to lunch yesterday and treated himself to his favorite restaurant, Chik-fil-A. While he was busy filling up, the front…
Survival. I guess that’s what it’s all about. I just have to figure out if I still have a pulse at this point. I got almost no sleep Sunday night. I kept waking up, worrying about how Monday was going to go. I had visions of National Geographic showing up unannounced on my doorstep Monday…
You look really pretty in this picture.
I agree. That is a nice picture. The glasses are pretty cool, too.
Enjoy the evening!
You remind me of myself lately. It’s been a little chilly but I’m fighting for my deck time. Mine is at least on the west side of the house so I can hang on a little longer before the chill runs me indoors.
It’s been a long winter and we need some fresh air but I could do without the robins. They’re getting quite aggressive about my deck belonging to them.
RYC: It was one of those icky scrapes that don’t bleed, they just bring blood nearly to the surface and start a huge bruise. I’ll probably live and fare better than those poor employees who saw me almost nekkid
P.S. I have jacket envy. That thing looks verra snuggy
May your dilgence and good study habits pay big dividends.
🙂
I agree, that is a fantastic photo of you, the best I’ve ever seen! That lady does not have, as you have said before, "a face for radio." That lady has a relaxed, kind and loving face– the perfect face for a veterinarian and a wonderful friend.
I’ve got to say, I LOVE your shirt! Is it short, mid, or long sleeve? Love that color purple.
Enjoy your evenings out in this weather!

Umm… Jerrek IS Steve.
Heh heh.
Don’t you just love on line personas??
