Current Stock (Picture Intensive)

I’ve spent the evening photographing and uploading pictures of my last two annealed batches of beads. It would have gone faster if the little grey critter would have let me work in peace.

1. Black and orange bi-colored/Miscentered center beading

2. Blue bumps on white base

3. Blue melt dots on white base

4. Blue eyes on black base

5. Blue/Green melt dots

6. Blue dots from hand-made twists, layered, on white base

7. Botched beads made from color change glass; color failed to fully oxidize

8. Brown strip on green spacer beads

9. “Floating” light blue dots on white base; some scorch marks

10. Experimental Clear and Green Tube with blue dot flowers front and back

11. Funky green spots on brown base

12. Peacock Green Spirals

13. Green/White bumps on white/green base

14,15,16. Implosion style beads. Color dots are placed on a clear glass disk, and then the disk is melted down, causing the dots to streak on the inside of the bead. The color is concentrated at one end of the bead, with some interesting effects when you look at the sides and through the top. A pain to make, and not easily worked into most stringings.

17. Light blue melted spots on electric blue base

18. Light blue stripes on black base with clear encasement

19. Little brown spacer beads

20. Mermaid and Celadon Beads, slipped over gold bracelet.

21. Olive green melties

22. Red and white stripes, encased in clear

23. Rejects. Enough said.

24. Sad Little Mutant Fish. Belonged in with the rejects, but I felt like the poor thing deserved his own picture.

25. Tan and cream dots on clear grass

26. Tan dots made from handmade twist, punctured and encased in clear on white base.

27. White stripes on purple base.

28. Yellow dots on clear green spacers. Note large bubble flaw in center of one spacer.

  1. it’s like ordering from the local Chinese take out place. Everything looks good so I’ll take (in exagerated English):

    2-#11

    Several implosion beads

    with a side of:

    BOTCHED BEADS

Do I get a fortune cookie with that???

  2. My favorites are #18, the mutant fish, and the implosion style beads. But I’d gladly take one of each. 🙂 You’re doing some really cool work there!
