The surgeon decided he needed more tests run before he’d operate. While I appreciate that he wants to make this surgery as risk-free as possible, the list of tests was far more than anything we could reasonably afford. After The Prof negotiated with the vet clinic, we managed to get the list reduced to only those test without which the vet would refuse to perform surgery. The final results won’t be back until tomorrow, so the surgery has been postponed until tomorrow.
It’s been determined that the eye cannot reasonably be salvaged, so Warrior Princess will be requiring a pirate patch. If anyone has a spare lying about, please let me know. I’d get her a parrot too, but she’d probably eat it.
