Clueless is in the Top Ten?????
It’s been over twelve years. Once in a while I’ll see one of the other cats, sitting silhouetted in a sunlit window or in shadows on a chair, and I think it’s him. You never stop missing them.

No time to do a real entry this morning (I hate Monday mornings). This at least should get me motivated to squeeze an entry in later today. Whole Brain Dominantleaning to the leftYou enjoy structure and work best when you can devote your attention to one task at a time. You also work well with…
Just called the vet hospital, and the Grey Terror is doing well. Her temperature is back down to normal, she hasn’t vomitted at all (not that she’s eaten anything to vomit), she’s bright and alert, and she apparently hasn’t broken any equipment that they feel compelled to ask me to reimburse the hospital for. They’re…
Comfortable, familiar, and wearing a little thin. At least my cable is up and working tonight. Kitten asleep on the lap. The Socialist informed me tonight that she’s no kitten, but she’s still a third smaller than the other two, and when she sleeps on my lap she makes a burbling noise. She might be…
Ziltoid was definitely a fifth instar in the last pictures. And he was a fifth instar on a mission. While I tried a couple of times yesterday to redirect Ziltie to a leaf or twig, he insisted on sitting on the inside of the glass bowl, making a little pile of webbing. Last night he…
Thanks to sweetstar1974 for bringing Moonriddengirl’s entry to my attention in which she mentioned this self test:Inner Self Test. I’m suspicious of these suckers, but it never stops me from trying one out! Your profile: Chairman. By completing the list of questions, you have indicated the aspects of your personality which, in your opinion, are…
I knew things were moving along a little too well. Yuppers, folks. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the walled, paved ex-garden, the floor falls out from beneath you … literally, in this case. Last night we had rain. It probably amounted to about an eighth of an inch of…
He was such a good cat! I recall checking in on his blog a year or two ago, myself.
A tuxedo cat who has lately been seen in the neighborhood has been hanging out in our small backyard. He’s thin and scrawny, though, not like Clueless, who had obviously been "well cared for". :o) I saw him sitting on one of our patio chairs last week. When he saw me looking out the French doors, he skedaddled; but I saw him see me and run away again a couple of days later. It’s nice and safe back there, with our privacy fence. Poor thing had a scratch on his nose. Also, there are lots of birds and fish and sometimes other critters to look at.
Clueless had a lovely nature. It’s true, you never stop missing them. So many reminders, large and small.
I still miss my little tail-sucker, Kitten, and my bottle baby Taz.
