Clueless is in the Top Ten?????
It’s been over twelve years. Once in a while I’ll see one of the other cats, sitting silhouetted in a sunlit window or in shadows on a chair, and I think it’s him. You never stop missing them.

I got a fair amount of stuff accomplished last night, mostly of the clerical variety. Bills got paid, paperwork got filed, accounts got balanced. Well, one account became balanced anyhow. The other has some problems, apparently not of my making. What is it with banks and me anyhow? Sooner or later I always seem to…
There’s a new Vorkosigan coming out tomorrow. I’ve heard at least one rumor that a major character dies. For what it’s worth. As for me, it’ll give me something to do while recovering from hand surgery, scheduled Wednesday.
Those furrows you see dug into the ground coming from the old site and leading to here? Those are my heels, digging in and being dragged through the ether-field, showing the last of my remaining resistance in being brought over to the new site. My Salamander background is gone. My formatting is gone, and weird…
I had a good physical therapy session today. During my neck strengthening exercises I found the “sweet spot’, an exact position that, if I hold my neck in it, gets rid of all of the pain and most of the pins and needles. This is a major step – now that we’ve found the position…
The paracentesis was a bit of a disappointment today – we only got 3.3 liters of fluid out this time. Granted, that was enough to change me from a beached humpback to a beached grey whale, but it’s hard to feel grateful for it. We had a little trouble with bleeding this time too, which…

He was such a good cat! I recall checking in on his blog a year or two ago, myself.
A tuxedo cat who has lately been seen in the neighborhood has been hanging out in our small backyard. He’s thin and scrawny, though, not like Clueless, who had obviously been "well cared for". :o) I saw him sitting on one of our patio chairs last week. When he saw me looking out the French doors, he skedaddled; but I saw him see me and run away again a couple of days later. It’s nice and safe back there, with our privacy fence. Poor thing had a scratch on his nose. Also, there are lots of birds and fish and sometimes other critters to look at.
Clueless had a lovely nature. It’s true, you never stop missing them. So many reminders, large and small.
I still miss my little tail-sucker, Kitten, and my bottle baby Taz.
