I haven’t done a waiting list update for a bit. It doesn’t make much difference at the moment, I guess, though no one has bothered to call me regarding the latest blood work results. Liver: 421 Liver Status 7 (Inactive): 45 Liver MELD / PELD <10: 241 Liver MELD / PELD 11-18: 118 Liver MELD…
I’ve spent the evening photographing and uploading pictures of my last two annealed batches of beads. It would have gone faster if the little grey critter would have let me work in peace. 1. Black and orange bi-colored/Miscentered center beading 2. Blue bumps on white base 3. Blue melt dots on white base 4. Blue…
The Professor remains determined to pursue his interest in Indian cookery, although this is becoming less and less like a chapter out of Julia Child and more and more like The Quest for the Holy Grail (you are welcome to decide on your own if the Monty Python version is the one I refer to)….
Saw this in Moonridden’s diary. Being the test taking sucker I am, I went to the site straight-away. Turns out that, like MR, I too am David. Bummer. I really, really, really wanted to be Robot from Lost in Space. Or maybe Orac from Blake’s Seven. He was obnoxious, but at least he had attitude.

Bell flowers (at least the ones I’m familiar with) are far more delicate than these things. The buds on…
Well, the tour I did yesterday went well. At least, I think it did. Nobody complained, and that’s at least a 90% success rating in my book. One unfortunate problem I ran into had to do with the facemask I now need to wear in many areas of the company I work for. I’m immunosuppressed,…
Sounds like it will be fun! Enjoy yourself, and who knows, maybe The Socialist will surprise you and be right by your side every step of the way!

Yes ma’am, those are indeed sheep shears. I have several pairs of them all over the house. One never knows when one might be called upon to shear a sheep in an emergency, lol.
Seriously, my friends, knowing my passion for antique tools, have given me some really interesting things, sheep shears among them.
I am not sure if that is a muskrat trap. It is a vermin trap of some sort. There is also a mink trap up there near it, lol. If times get hard, I can always go trap my dinner. Muskrat stew, anyone??
I’ll support you
Cant send you money, but I am wishing the big winds give you speed.

Tell me how and where, and I will see if I can sponsor you. Have to clear it with the husband, as per our $$ agreement. 😉
