Crap.
I get to add one more condition to my personal list of “been there, done that”. My A1C came back as clearly diabetic.
This isn’t funny anymore.

This is what happens when I’m left with too much time on my hands without a keeper assigned to me. Song: Fifty Ways To Leave Your Liver Artist: With apologies to Paul Simon The problem’s all inside your gut, my doc said to me The answer’s easy, approached biologically I’d like to help you in…
The Socialist and I had a talk last night. Evidently I’m always Gloomy Gus anymore, which makes it hard for him to hang around me. He says I never smile, and I seldom see the bright side of things. I wanted to argue with him that it wasn’t true, that I spent a good part…
Well, we haven’t killed each other yet, or even inflicted any lasting scars. He does his own laundry and shopping, and buys me really cool ammonite bookends for wedding presents. I’d say year one was successful, overall. Heading on to Year 2. Happy anniversary, Mr. Prof.

I’ve been living with it for 13 years now. But I’m lucky. I can eat whatever I want and still have an A1C under six. Hopefully some Metformin will straighten you out and you won’t have to mess around with insulin.
((((hugs))))
Well, sh*tinskis! I, too, will remain hopeful pills will do the trick. It seems to work for Mom.
