Crap.
I get to add one more condition to my personal list of “been there, done that”. My A1C came back as clearly diabetic.
This isn’t funny anymore.

Can we say “ridiculous”, boys and girls? Yes, I heard again from the mental midgets who man the email at Double Day Books. I’m done trying to talk with them. I’ve gotten more intelligent responses from ACfH. It is my most avid of hopes that, some day, one of their PR people stumbles across this…
Not me. The Kitten from Hell. She decided to go trick or treating in the apartment last night, after we retired. She found herself a nice, newly opened can of Pounce treats, knocked them off the top of the microwave, chewed the lid off, and ate the entire freaking can. Of course, she barfed the…
I’m sorry that I left you With your questions all alone But I was too happy driving And too angry to drive home I was thinking about the easy courage Of my distant friends They said I could let this bridge wash out And never make amends Can I blow this small town Make a…
Trying to exercise due vigilance, I survey my skin frequently these days. Brown spots, white spots, red spots are all categorized and revisited. Meet my cat, The Clueless Wonder. Hard to believe he was a rescue kitty from the streets of West Philthy. I got him as a companion for my mother, and he boomeranged back to me shortly before her death last year.
Well shit
Crap is right. Ugh!
This one I can sympathize with. Sorry.
dislike!
I’m so sorry this has happened. As we age it becomes more likely, and you did just have a birthday. 😉 Happy belated birthday, my friend. In spite of the diabetes. I’ve been living with it for 13 years now. But I’m lucky. I can eat whatever I want and still have an A1C under six. Hopefully some Metformin will straighten you out and you won’t have to mess around with insulin.
((((hugs))))
Well, sh*tinskis! I, too, will remain hopeful pills will do the trick. It seems to work for Mom.
