Crap.
I get to add one more condition to my personal list of “been there, done that”. My A1C came back as clearly diabetic.
This isn’t funny anymore.

It’s difficult to decide what to write about today. ~â¢~ There’s the case of the Mysterious Smoking Pan. The Professor wanted batter fried fish last night, which is something I know how to make on a theoretical level only. I grabbed the largest frying pan we had though, and set out to experiment, after warning…
Let’s start with the fun stuff first, shall we? The Clueless Wonder doesn’t get nearly enough press. His feline acne isn’t showing any particular improvement, and he now runs when he sees me coming because he thinks I’m getting ready to Oxi-pad his poor cratered chin. Twice a day he’s right to run. I feel…
I should have known better. When I got home yesterday, the dishes from two days ago remained untouched. Dishes in the sink, by the sink, pans on the stove. I decided it wasn’t worth saying anything, but that I wasn’t going to start dinner until the stuff was washed. Instead I showered, and went into…
Making the rounds of diaries today I stumbled upon Covert Ops’ entry today. She went to her photo files, selected the eighth file, and then selected the eighth photo in the file and posted it. She then went on to challenge eight additional people to do the same. I was curious what picture that would…
I got the updated bill for my new car’s insurance today. My rates went up only $33/half year. I figure that isn’t too bad at all. I still haven’t heard from The Socialist’s agent, who I left a request with to get a quote. Supposedly I can do much better with his insurance. I’m not…
No, hardly a stroll, I fear. This was three hours of climbing straight uphill, then heading straight downhill, only to head straight uphill again. It was good exercise, and I enjoyed myself immensely, but sheesh, haven’t those guys ever heard of “switchbacks”????? The Professor and I spent the day at Susquehannock State Park, which is…
Well shit
Crap is right. Ugh!
This one I can sympathize with. Sorry.
dislike!
I’m so sorry this has happened. As we age it becomes more likely, and you did just have a birthday. 😉 Happy belated birthday, my friend. In spite of the diabetes. I’ve been living with it for 13 years now. But I’m lucky. I can eat whatever I want and still have an A1C under six. Hopefully some Metformin will straighten you out and you won’t have to mess around with insulin.
((((hugs))))
Well, sh*tinskis! I, too, will remain hopeful pills will do the trick. It seems to work for Mom.
