Crap.
I get to add one more condition to my personal list of “been there, done that”. My A1C came back as clearly diabetic.
This isn’t funny anymore.

Yesterday was March 3, 2003. 03/03/03. There’s a certain aesthetic pleasure in the date, even if it is totally devoid of significance. Well, perhaps it isn’t totally insignificant. It was the fourth anniversary of my employment here. The anniversary passed without any acknowledgement whatsoever; no surprise since no one was even here. What is surprising…
Yup. He’s sick. Clueless just barfed spectacularly throughout the dining room of the apartment. Since he ate nothing this morning, this was last night’s dinner coming back. Confirmation of this took form of his completely intact Pounce treat in the middle of the barf. The Pounce treat that he got nearly nineteen hours ago with…
OK, candle, Iâll try to anticipate your questions by giving you my views on God in a nutshell. To anyone else reading, please understand up front that there is absolutely no intent to offend. I have Christian friends who devoutly believe and I was married to a Jewish man for many years whose extended family…
With the aid of an appetite enhancing drug, they got CW to eat a bit at the vet’s this morning. He managed to keep it down for a few hours, so after a bit of a talk with the vet on call today we decided to let CW come home and see how he fares…

Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma starts out like a generic skin rash, and eventually gets a raised, red and angry look to it. I’ve got a…
Well shit
Crap is right. Ugh!
This one I can sympathize with. Sorry.
dislike!
I’m so sorry this has happened. As we age it becomes more likely, and you did just have a birthday. 😉 Happy belated birthday, my friend. In spite of the diabetes. I’ve been living with it for 13 years now. But I’m lucky. I can eat whatever I want and still have an A1C under six. Hopefully some Metformin will straighten you out and you won’t have to mess around with insulin.
((((hugs))))
Well, sh*tinskis! I, too, will remain hopeful pills will do the trick. It seems to work for Mom.
