Clueless is in the Top Ten?????
It’s been over twelve years. Once in a while I’ll see one of the other cats, sitting silhouetted in a sunlit window or in shadows on a chair, and I think it’s him. You never stop missing them.

I was doing well before I was hospitalized, but I seem to have lost my drive since my discharge from Big City Hospital. I’ve only spent a handful of hours looking for a job. I have come to the point that I don’t know what I want to do anymore. I know what I don’t…
I’ve got a new project that I’ve been working on this week, making some beads that fit an earth-tone theme. Given my druthers I tend towards the cool colors, so working with warm, earthy tones is a bit of a new experience. I particularly was hoping to come up with something that would approximate an…
Yesterday a robin was born.
I just got my schedule for the foreign animal disease seminar I’m attending Thursday. There’s a catered lunch there, which I didn’t know about. A real lunch, on the State. Not one of those tables with graze-as-you-go doughnuts and stale coffee like they usually provide, but a sit-down and waiters in funny looking uniforms bring…
Can’t take the cats to see Santa – Santa leaves PetSmart at five and I won’t be home until six. I wonder if the Mall Santa would like to meet Kitten and O’Beast. I’m willing to bet not. The Socialist called a few hours back. He’s made it down to good ol’ Virginny and is…
I’m playing catch-up here with a few things, which is my excuse for throwing what promises to be a quite disjointed entry out here today. The dentist appointment went fine (thanks for asking, folks). No cavities, the existing fillings do not need replacing, the one cap I have may cause problems in the future, but…
He was such a good cat! I recall checking in on his blog a year or two ago, myself.
A tuxedo cat who has lately been seen in the neighborhood has been hanging out in our small backyard. He’s thin and scrawny, though, not like Clueless, who had obviously been "well cared for". :o) I saw him sitting on one of our patio chairs last week. When he saw me looking out the French doors, he skedaddled; but I saw him see me and run away again a couple of days later. It’s nice and safe back there, with our privacy fence. Poor thing had a scratch on his nose. Also, there are lots of birds and fish and sometimes other critters to look at.
Clueless had a lovely nature. It’s true, you never stop missing them. So many reminders, large and small.
I still miss my little tail-sucker, Kitten, and my bottle baby Taz.
