In a rush today.
I didn’t get a chance to really complete my last entry. There’s so much I have to do tonight, I don’t know how to begin. I need to pay the bills up to date, take care of the rent, get instructions on cat care taken care of for the Sisters, get sloppy joe mix made and frozen in preparation for the office party on Friday, wrap packages, remember to set the ornament for the office ornamanet exchange in a place where I’ll remember to bring it in tomorrow. The Professor didn’t get the laundry started last night, so I need to do laundry so I can do as much packing as possible. I know I’ve left stuff off the list, but that’s what I’ve written down so far.
The Professor made some sort of “root soup” last night. I know it has carrots, potatoes, parsnips, and ginger in it. The smell woke me up around 2:00, and smelled wonderful. The kitchen, on the other hand, was a disaster zone when I looked in on it this morning. This deal of the person who doesn’t cook washes is definitely not working in my favor.
Then again, I’ve managed to stealthily take over most of the dishwashing duties in the past couple of weeks. I don’t know if he hasn’t noticed or decided not to say anything, and I really don’t care. For once, when I go to bed the sink is clear of dishes, so I’m happy. But I digress …
And, for the fan club, more Kitten from Hell pictures. She does love her bags. The temptation to leave her zipped in this one was almost overwhelming though.
Clueless Wonder was even intrigued by this game. He wandered over to check things out, and I think KfH saw the bag as a home base from which to launch her initial attack for world domination (or, at least, apartment domination).
